ITI’s New Premises & Irish Theatre Artists Online - September 2008
This September, Irish Theatre Institute will host the official launch of its new premises and new Irish Theatre Artists Online database. Recently, ITI moved to an early Georgian building located at 17 Eustace Street in Temple Bar, the cultural heart of Dublin. This move marked the significant growth of the organisation and means that ITI can continue to meet its artistic and management objectives by providing a high quality, professional service to the Irish theatre sector and to international colleagues. The four storey building has been fully refurbished to ITI’s brief and represents an important new asset for theatre in Ireland as well as a permanent base from which ITI can continue to expand and grow.
The event, which will take place in the new premises, will also mark the launch of the Irish Theatre Artists’ database, an up-to-the-minute catalogue of freelance Irish theatre and dance practitioners working today. This Arts Council funded database will contain the profiles of actors, creatives and all involved in the business, each essentially creating their own web-page with plenty of space for a biography and photographic information... a crucial tool for those who want to know and be known. Click here to register and become an Irish Theatre Artist
